Our history
About Us
Our journey started in 2019 when the world was hit by the COVID pandemic. As the restrictions on travel grew & running traditional business model was extremaly difficult we have saw opportunity to explore international firewood markets and in late 2019 BFE S.p Z.O.O was formed with a clear vision to become largest polish supplier of firewood and bio fuel products. Since then we have been a key supplier to REVE Group and TOOMS in Germany, as well as many other smaller chains in Western Europe. In 2020-2024 we built a great reputation with customers thanks to our pan-European logistics network, great product selection and individual approach to each customer. In 2024 we expanded into the UK market, opening our first office outside of Poland. We have very ambitious plans to open an office in Scandinavia by the end of 2025, which would enable BFE to become a pan-European service provider for wood products and biofuels.
Company Mission
Our mission is to become the leading European supplier of firewood. In 2024 we created a group of companies called BFE Group with headquarters in London, UK. We work with many major wood producers in Poland and abroad to offer a wide range of products and packaging at very competitive prices. We are FSC, PEFC and Woodsure Ready to Burn certified company and our core values are environmental sustainability, which is why all our wood comes only from renewable forests. Working with BFE guarantees the highest quality firewood and peace of mind, knowing that the wood comes only from renewable sources.
Logistics and Transport
As a group, we work with key logistics and transport service providers throughout Europe. Our products are stored in our distribution centre operated by Galan Logistics in Kobylanka near Szczecin. This is where we manage our European shipping logistics to ensure our customers always have the best quality firewood exactly when they need it delivered.
